MeP was founded by Stephen Banci, a former line cook, sous-chef and chef in N.Y.C. Following ten years cooking in restaurant kitchens, Stephen earned a degree in Design Drafting and Computer Graphics with a Construction Concentration which in turn, lead to five years of drafting and designing for two NYC architectural firms; Costa Design, AIA and Fakler, Eliason and Porcelli, AIA. But the memory of building simple furniture in his childhood home with his father motivated him to build on a slightly larger scale. Now, after nearly 20 years of residential general contracting, Stephen has combined his two vocations, creating attractive and functional culinary spaces.
